The Line Cook/ CDP is responsible for the timely and consistent preparation of all restaurant items from their designated station;
The ideal candidate for this position is organized, team oriented, and displays a positive attitude.
Main duties include:
Preparing, cooking and presenting dishes within an assigned station.
Organizing, stocking and maintaining an assigned station.
Ensuring food quality and consistency through accurate use of recipes.
Monitoring and maintaining kitchen cleanliness; following food safety and hygiene regulations.
Proper receiving and storing of food items.
Professional communication with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth service and customer satisfaction.
This position requires:
3-5 years professional kitchen experience.
An in depth understanding of safe professional cooking.
Strong communication skills.
Food handler's certificate.
Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays (as needed).
Ability to lift 50 lbs.
Ability to work calmly under pressure.
Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Post-secondary education in culinary arts is an asset
Red seal certification is an asset
Private club experience is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
