We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, with experience in meal preparation and food handling within a restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently, delivering high-quality dishes to our guests.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure the health and safety of our guests.
Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations, including cleaning and organizing work areas.
Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
Help train new kitchen staff on proper food preparation techniques and safety practices.
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or kitchen environments is preferred.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for food handling.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques within the food industry.
