Parts Administrator \xe2\x80\x93 Heavy Equipment
We are a leading supplier to the construction industry in Atlantic Canada. We are a locally owned and operated company established in 2001. We provide equipment sales, parts, and service for a variety of equipment. Our success has been built on the exceptional product lines we represent, long-standing relationships with customers, and an effective and dedicated team.
Our new Parts Administrator will be based in Truro, NS, and will provide administrative support to our Parts Sales staff.
Responsibilities:
- Data Entry: entering sales order and quotes, filling POs, creating part numbers, updating pricing
- Working with a variety of communication platforms: online portals, excel, server library, text messages, emails, phone calls
- Tracking shipments and providing updates as needed
- Navigating inventory systems and performing period cycle counts
- Learning to look up parts in manuals
- Greeting and assisting front counter customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Professional communication skills, both interpersonal and digital.
- Experience with Microsoft products and proficient in keyboarding.
- Knowledge of Sage 300 would be a benefit
- Valid Class 05 Driver\xe2\x80\x99s license
- Customer service experience.
- Previous experience in a Parts Department for construction, forestry, agriculture, or industrial supply is preferred
