Locum & Permanent Opportunities

Central, Newfoundland & Labrador

The Opportunity:

Working out of one of the regional centres EM departments, provide virtual EM coverage for rural sites within the Central Health Authority in rural Newfoundland.

Shifts:

8am-4pm

4pm-12am

Hourly Rate:

$232.07/ hour

James Paton Memorial Regional Health Centre- Gander, NL

Location:

Central Health is the second largest health authority in Newfoundland and Labrador, serving approximately 94,000 people (18 percent of the province's population) living in 177 communities. With a geographical area encompassing more than half the total landmass of the island, the Central Health region extends from Charlottetown in the east, Fogo Island in the north, Harbour Breton in the south, to Baie Verte in the west.

Skills required:

Medical Degree with specialist training in Family Medicine.

Must currently hold Full Independent license in Canada OR hold CCFP and MCCQE1 exam

Eligible for registration and license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.
