The aviation industry offers career opportunities that extend beyond what you see during the inflight experience.PAL Airlines is currently seeking a qualified Training Developer/Content Coordinator to join our team in St. John\'s, NL.Responsible for creating and maintaining online training for a variety on internal audiences, a Training Developer turns required learning into engaging courses. Partnering with subject matter experts, a Training Developer ensures that online training adheres to company guidelines and Transport Canada regulations when requiredDuties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, update and maintain the online training library within the PAL Group;
  • Assess the needs of the organization and/or department;
  • Work individually or as a team to develop content and produce visually appealing training courses;
  • Maintain the online training library;
  • Maintain course library, suggest improvements and drive continuous improvement culture;
  • Schedule and host yearly training content review discussions will all divisions within the PAL Group;
  • Responsible for regular auditing of training compliance and reporting findings;
  • Maintain training development task list and prioritize development requests accordingly;
  • Utilize internal processes and tools optimally for the quick resolution of training requests;
  • Consult with subject matter experts, develop story boards and translate subjects into engaging online courses utilizing PowerPoint, Storyline, Power Tune, Adobe and other visual editing tools;
  • Attend weekly development meetings;
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in education or graphic design, or equivalent experience required;
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of Products;
  • Must be proficient in Storyline, Articulate, Canva, Powtoon etc for content creation (or any other application);
  • Strong organization, communication and time management skills;
  • A positive motivating attitude;
  • Experience in aviation is considered an asset;
  • Experience in eLearning an asset;
  • Experience using Pelesys considered an asset.
