Duties

Develop and execute creative and seasonal menus that reflect current culinary trends. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure high-quality food preparation. Maintain food safety standards and ensure compliance with health regulations. Collaborate with the restaurant management team to optimize kitchen operations and enhance guest satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Assist in the preparation and presentation of dishes, ensuring consistency in taste and appearance. Manage kitchen schedules, including team shifts, to ensure efficient workflow during peak hours. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or food service industry. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for creating diverse dishes. Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead kitchen staff effectively. Familiarity with hospitality standards and customer service excellence. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
