We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Taekwondo Instructor to join our team! The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to educating individuals in both the technical skills and philosophy of Taekwondo. This role requires an individual who is enthusiastic about teaching students of all ages and skill levels.

Duties

Teaching the art, technique and philosophy of Taekwondo to students ages 3-75 in a fun, engaging manner Foster a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes confidence. Maintain a safe and clean environment for all participants during classes. Attend training sessions and professional development workshops as required. Open/Close Duties (keyholder) Some light cleaning/tidying may be required as needed, however we have a professional cleaner that does most of the work

Qualifications

2nd Dan or higher Black Belt with a Kukkiwon Certificate (WT style Taekwondo) Reliable and punctual If hired, will be conditional on obtaining clean Police background check If hired, will be conditional on obtaining CPR-First Aid certification within 60 day probation period Demo Team experience a plus Competitive Sparring experience a plus, Competitive Poomsae experience a plus AI/DC/PC certification a plus High-Dan certification a plus

We are open 7 days/week with an upcoming summer camp. Potential for lots of hours for the right candidate. Pay rate will be determined by experience and qualifications.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal

Pay: $18.50-$25.00 per hour
