Assist the Manager, Operations and Inventory Purchaser with both physical and administrative duties, and provide ongoing organizational support with respect to filing, purchasing, reporting and inventory control.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assist Purchaser by sourcing and purchasing products to maintain inventory levels as required by the Computerized Inventory Control
  • Assist the Purchaser to maintain the inventory stores through regular physical inventory to ensure accurate records and to aid in the forecasting of re-order timeframes
  • Assist in coordinating tenant purchases
  • Assists with filing, record keeping and reporting as required
  • Receive and document new inventory ensuring delivery matches purchase orders issued
  • Prepare and ship orders as required
  • Maintain Inventory Storage in a clean and organized state


QUALIFICATIONS
SERVICE / PERSONAL SKILLS:
Service driven with excellent interpersonal, communication (oral & written), and organizational skills. Friendly and courteous with a professional image, this candidate must be detail oriented, self-motivated and resourceful with the ability to work independently. Must be team oriented and able to work under pressure. Strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills are critical to this role.

EXPERIENCE & TECHNICAL SKILLS:
  • Minimum 2 years office administration experience preferably in a commercial environment
  • Basic computer program literacy in Excel, Word, ONCITE PM Database and Real Suite Work Order Systems
  • Basic accounting fundamentals an asset
  • Ability to author and edit reports providing the department with accurate details relating to specific and pertinent topics and issues


EDUCATION/DESIGNATIONS/LICENSES:
  • Completion of a Post-Secondary education is preferred
