In the role of Operations & Maintenance - Summer Student, you will work in the field completing tasks necessary for the operation of our facilities. It\xe2\x80\x99s an excellent foundational work term for people who are self motivated and eager to learn about our industry. This is a unique opportunity to learn from and interact with a full range of Enbridge professionals\xe2\x80\x94from Managers to Technicians, Electricians, Engineers and Mechanics. Placement Details: This is a 4-month summer placement starting in May 2023, located in Kerrobert, SK. What you will do:

• General maintenance around sites.
• Assist technicians during planned work. (Preventive and corrective maintenance on Mechanical and Electrical Assets)
• Travel to local sites (within 1-2 hours) to provide services there.
• Facility maintenance including grass cutting, painting, etc.
• Operate vehicles
• Operate small machinery

Competencies you will develop:

• Detailed safety best practices for tools/equipment
• Understanding and appreciation for what safety means in the energy industry
• Practical knowledge of machining/manufacturing/engineering as it relates to tools and equipment
• Safety training including fire risk and prevention
• High level understanding of how the energy industry works

Who you are:

• You are currently enrolled in a full time post-secondary program and will be returning to full time school immediately following the work term.
• Effective and professional communication both verbal and written with ability to communicate with all levels within the organization.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
• Effective time management and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Solid computer skills and experience using MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to actively and consistently represent Enbridge\xe2\x80\x99s core values (Safety, Integrity, Respect, Inclusion).
• Willing and able to perform physical labour.
• Valid fully graduated driver\xe2\x80\x99s license and responsible driving record.

Working Conditions:

• Field based role, located in Kerrobert, SK
• Relocation assistance is not provided.
