MAINTENANCE SUMMER STUDENT
Located out of our Cochrane Extraction Plant site, the Maintenance Summer Student role will report to the Maintenance Senior.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a technology or engineering post-secondary education program and has, as a minimum, completed the first year of the program

Skills:

• Positive attitude, self-motivated and dependable, with a strong work ethic
• Pleasant personality and positive outlook
• A demonstrated commitment to safety and compliance to processing facility procedures

Key Activities and Responsibilities.

• General shop cleanup and organization
• Updating spare parts requirements
• Provide logistical support when large numbers of contractors are on site
• Assisting with routine preventative maintenance activities
• Equipment cleaning and filter changes
• Coordinating \xe2\x80\x98As Built\xe2\x80\x99 or \xe2\x80\x98As-Found\xe2\x80\x99 documentation updates
• Investigate dormant open work orders with a goal of reducing current work order backlogs
• Gather supplies from town when necessary
• Assisting E&I and Mechanical groups on an \xe2\x80\x9cas needed\xe2\x80\x9d basis

Hours:

Full time temporary anticipated to start early May 2023 until late August 2023

As this position is identified as safety and security sensitive, employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of pre-employment medical, drug/alcohol and criminal background check assessments with satisfactory results
