The Corporate Operational Services (COS) Summer Student will assist the Facilities Management team with providing support on various Facilities projects and initiatives. The position will offer a diverse work experience, collaborating on Facilities projects with ENMAX Business Units, assisting in the creation of Facilities Standards for Future of Work and RFP documentation. This role will allow you to directly apply your academic knowledge and share your ideas in a practical work environment while building your portfolio of skills and contacts.
This position is part of the 2023 ENMAX Summer Student Program. This 16-week program demonstrates ENMAX\xe2\x80\x99s commitment to invest in our future workforce and supports youth in building beneficial career skills. To be eligible applicants must be enrolled in a full-time degree or diploma program at an accredited post-secondary institution and must be returning full-time in the fall.
Major Responsibilities:
Assist in the documentation of Facilities building, workstation standards and inventory.
Gather and verify supporting documentation for Facilities RFP events
Floor plan updates in Adobe Pro
Signage updates and administration, including workstation identifiers
Collaborate with Environment Team on Annual Recycling Audit
Assist Facilities Team in the coordination of vendors for Company events
Education Required:
Currently enrolled in a Degree or Diploma program in related discipline and will be returning to full time school following the work term
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous experience with web-based collaborative platforms and enterprise management tools, such as SharePoint and InfoLink
Proficient in Microsoft Office \xe2\x80\x93 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Knowledge of updating documents in Adobe Pro
Strong communication skills, including the ability to write clear and concise documents and emails
Self-Motivated. Someone that asks questions and shares their ideas.

Location: This role will be part of our hybrid (home and office) work force with office workspace located at ENMAX Place (141 - 50th Avenue SE, Calgary, AB). You will work from home on Mondays and Fridays and in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
