Summer student ? Job opportunity With over 30 years of experience, Opsco Process Solutions is dedicated to supplying quality packaged equipment, pressure vessels and piping for oil and gas production, heavy oil processing and refinery operations on domestic and international projects utilizing our industry leading personnel and maximizing our modern 84,000 sq. ft. fabrication facilities in Calgary. Currently we are seeking a Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Student to join our Project Managers and
Design team for a summer placement position. Estimated duration is two (2) months, full time. The successful summer student will be working closely with the project manager for the following: - Assist the Project Managers to finalize the equipment?s final Databooks. This task includes compiling drawings, QC documents, instruments and manual valves brochures, operation manuals, etc. Other responsibilities: - Adhere to Opsco?s Safety Policy and Code of Ethics. Qualifications and Requirements: - A student in Engineering is preferred.
- Recent experience in a manufacturing shop would be preferable.
- Technical skills for using Excel, Word and PDF. We are offering a fast-paced, challenging work environment with attractive salaries based on experience.
