MECHANICAL ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGY STUDENT \xe2\x80\x93 SUMMER 2024

We currently have exciting opportunities within our operations for Mechanical Engineering Technology Students to join our teams in Saint John, New Brunswick, for the Summer 2024 work term.

Qualifications:

• Currently Enrolled in a 2-year Mechanical Engineering Technology Program and in good academic standing
• Self-starter with effective problem-solving skills
• Team player with excellent interpersonal skills

What You Can Expect from your Work Term:

You will get exposure and gain experience directly aligned with your technology program, working in our state-of-the-art facilities alongside our world-class professionals. Tasks may include:

• Improving equipment availability through maintenance, reliability, and asset management processes.
• Application of condition-based monitoring of rotating equipment including vibration analysis and lubrication fundamentals
• Small project work with the facilities departments
• Inventory management processes and spare parts rebuilds
• Work management including planning, scheduling , and contractor coordination.

This position will be based on-site at one of our 4 mill locations. We have 3 mills located in Saint John, NB and the 4th is located approximately 45 minutes outside of the city in Utopia, NB. Each student is responsible to provide their own reliable form of transportation to and from work.
