Student Tourism Counselor

Job Description
Want to be part of Kenora\'s biggest summer events? Summer Tourism Counselors will act as the first point of contact for visitors at the Discovery Centre or downtown Pavillion and provide information about local attractions, accommodations, and events in the Kenora area. They will also assist with local events throughout the summer. Qualifications:
- Must be enrolled in school full time
- G2 Drivers License or higher
- Knowledge of Kenora\'s attractions, events and accommodations
- Cash handling and computer skills
- Good communication skills with ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions
- Ability to work independently or as a team
- Excellent customer service skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Morning shift
- Weekend availability
- Kenora, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
