We are currently looking for a Senior Learning & Development Specialist to join us in making vacation dreams come true. As the Senior Learning & Development Specialist you will will be accountable for supporting the end-to-end Learning and development cycle within the Sales Centre. To do so, they will assist the Training Manager in identifying, developing, and executing varied learning initiatives. The position reports to the Training Manager and will be located in Toronto, ON. What You\'ll Do:

• Assist the Training Manager in promoting a learning culture by creating learning opportunities to build employee competency through learning and on-the job training
• Assist in the design and development of training content in multiple formats including instructor-led, webinars, video, job aids, role play, games, and multimedia visual aids to maximize learning transfer and retention.
• Regularly measure, identify and recommend learning strategies to develop solutions that achieve desired business outcomes which may include non-learning recommendations
• Effectively maintain training-related documentation and supporting materials to ensure the content is current and relevant to the business objectives and will increase or retain learner capability.
• Facilitate various types of in-class, web-based and virtual training, including new hire, soft skills, product, and initiative training that integrate adult learning principles.
• Monitor and coach new hires during the training period, activity monitoring performance, attendance, and overall fit for the position
• Complete New Hire review including attendance and performance concerns with Training and Development Managers, HR and the Sales Centre manager to identify risks and impacts.
• Support in the development of L&D Specialist through Train the Trainers, 360 feedback and sharing best practices

What You\'ll Need:

• 3+ years of extensive experience in a Learning and Development including ADDIE, facilitation, coaching, performance management, etc.
• Previous project management experience to deliver learning programs and initiatives
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and work on projects simultaneously
• Solid facilitation and communication skills, verbal and written
• Good business acumen, including problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly; can balance the need for quick turnaround with strategic efforts.
• Bilingual (English and French) is an asset
