Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate skills Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective on farm lessons in various farm tasks(construction, gardening, crafting) while fostering a positive learning environment, and supporting participants in achieving their goals. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact through education and mentorship, working with people with diverse abilities with various skill levels.

Responsibilities

Assess individuals progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support improvement. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities Maintain a positive, inclusive, and motivating environment for co-workers and participants. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance program offerings and share best practices.

Experience

Human Service worker degree or equivalent experience in the community living sector. Prior experience in teaching, instructing, or training roles is preferred but not required; relevant internship or volunteer experience is also valuable. Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with learners of varying backgrounds Ability to complete various farm tasks in a safe and instructional manner. Passion for education, mentorship, and helping others succeed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.50-$25.50 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
