We are looking for a Senior Office Administrator to work out of our Calgary, AB head office (4420 50th Ave SE). This position offers a dynamic work environment, and opportunity to grow within the Company. This is a fast-paced position that requires strong attention to detail and organization.
A summary of the duties are:
- Advanced accounting tasks; project invoicing, project accruals, journal entries, payroll entry and assistance with month end reporting
- Invoicing multiple customers, following specific-customer invoicing instructions, and managing multi-provincial sales taxes.
- AR management
- Advanced AP data entry and coding
- Purchasing & receiving data entry
- Data Entry into Open Invoice, Jobutrax, Cortex, Actian, Ariba and Oracle
- General administration
*** Preference will be given to a candidate with a background in receivables and payables ***
The successful candidate will need strong computer skills including experience with Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and QuickBooks Online. In addition, they must also show a willingness and ability to learn/operate our custom inventory management and field ticketing software.
This person must be able to effectively communicate with internal team members and external customers on a frequent basis.
This person will be expected to work closely with other members of the accounting team to meet time-sensitive deadlines
