Job Title Senior Manager, Digital Delivery and Optimization
What is the opportunity?
Reporting to the Director, Digital Conversion Optimization and NBA Delivery. Responsibilities include optimizing RBC's digital marketing campaign pages, emails and banner ads, leveraging traffic analysis, industry trends and digital marketing best practices. Utilizes A/B testing tools, targeting & personalization, machine learning data and dynamic content platforms to continually optimize conversions across digital channels.
Run day-to-day strategic delivery of digital assets across all NBA programs, and drive conversion optimization initiatives aligning with RBC's brand voice and DVL standards. Foster an A/B testing and experimentation approach and an effective digital campaigns measurement method. Be accountable for sales performance, lead generation and conversions.
What will you do?
Enable Our Business Partners to Achieve Their Sales Targets
Liaise with the design team for image and content designs
Manage all Next Best Action campaigns
Collaborate with Digital Marketing Managers, Marketing Stakeholders, and Product Owners to understand campaign objectives and find opportunities to optimize
Apply GA data, user behavior insights and web analytics to better profile, target, and retarget prospects; drive continual optimization of campaign performance
Manage scope, timelines, and analyze results for banner campaign pages optimization
Optimize Every Interaction with Our Clients
Exhibit deep understanding of both technical opportunities and constraints presented in responsive design standards, modern digital UX and development
Ensure optimization objectives are understood and accepted
Ensure ads and Campaigns increase in relevance of messaging, click through rates and sales/conversions based on testing results
Drive customer engagement
Continuously review performance of live programs and initiate corrective actions together with the rest of the digital marketing team members
Drive Efficiencies with Our Business Operations
Support digital optimization and conversion efforts across all Digital marketing campaigns
Develop and maintain optimization plans using various testing methods (A/B testing, multivariate testing, segment-based targeting, behavioral targeting)
Track optimization experiments over time assessing treatment effect, and other measures
Assist in translating results into actions by provide context to prevent the cherry-picking
Measure and report performance of campaigns; assess the digital campaigns against business goals - return on investment (ROI) and key performance indicators (KPIs)
Conduct periodical quality control checks to ensure that campaigns are using industry best practices for deliverability, engagement, and conversion. Optimize future campaigns with data-driven insights.
Collaborate with CRM to identify opportunities and areas of inefficiency to maximize the effectiveness conversions/revenue of digital and physical channels
What do you need to succeed?
Experience in the field of digital content & campaign management and optimization
Knowledge of digital marketing strategies in the digital and mobile space
In-depth knowledge of internet/intranet, online user experience, ecommerce and web-based technology
Knowledge and understanding of SEM/SEO, digital sales funnels,
Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to proactively identify opportunities
Highly organized, self-motivated, adept at managing change and priorities with an ability to work under tight deadlines
Solid technical/project management skills
Financial Services industry experience an asset, but not required
Experience working with Analytics & Insights, Data
Sound understanding of the user experience discipline, Google Analytics, SEO, and digital design best practices
