TTEC Digital Data and AI practice is seeking an energetic and experienced senior professional to be a leader in our Big Data/ML engineering team.

Successful candidates are hands-on, process-oriented, and have outstanding analytical skills in developing tactical and strategic solutions. The ideal candidate is a subject matter expert in big data technologies and is also passionate about leading and mentoring a great group of engineers. During a Typical Day, You'll

Provide thought leadership in architecture, design for analytics products

Plan and oversee product, solution implementations

Lead cross functional product development efforts

Be responsible for senior management reporting, client relationship, engagements

Work with data scientists and business stakeholders to build the product and feature pipelines

Be an SME in technical and functional aspects of the analytic products and integration requirements

Proactively identify internal and external dependencies, highlighting issues, scope changes, and progress against project plan

Provide technical support to assist clients and partners during and post implementation

Manage and develop the team globally.

Manage and facilitate technical design discussions, add significant verbal and written contributions, and help the team overcome hurdles

Develop and expand our application knowledge base and best practices for delivering data products.

What You Bring to the Role

Master's in computer science or equivalent with at least 8 years of relevant experience in big data ecosystem

Understanding of Agile Software Development Lifecycle and project planning/execution skills

Ability to assess business rules, collaborate with stakeholders and perform source-to-target data mapping, design, and review.

Experience with processing large sets of structured, semi-structured and unstructured data

Experience with batch and real-time processing frameworks (Apache Kafka, Apache Spark etc.)

Proficiency in Python/PySpark programming

Experienced in building/consuming REST APIs (JSON) and SDKs

Extensive experience with data modeling

Extensive experience writing complex SQL

Experience with NoSQL databases

Understanding of complex data flows, identification of data processing bottlenecks and designing and implementing solutions.

A broad set of technical skills and knowledge across hardware, software, systems, and solutions development.

Experience in professional services or technical consulting with enterprise software solutions

Proven ability to balance and manage multiple, competing priorities.

Collaborative interpersonal skills and ability to work within cross-functional teams.

Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals in complex fast-paced environment to ensure quality of all data integration points.
