Position Overview
We are seeking a
Supervised Senior Behavioural Therapist
to join our growing team. This individual will work under the supervision of a BCBA and Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA), focusing on supervising client programs, supporting therapist growth, and ensuring high-quality service delivery.
This role does
not involve regular direct 1:1 therapy sessions
; instead, it emphasizes
supervision, assessment, and team development
.
Responsibilities
Conduct
client observations and assessments
under BCBA/RBA supervision.
Provide
hands-on training and in-person feedback
to Behavioural Therapists.
Oversee the implementation of ABA programs to ensure treatment fidelity.
Provide
client updates after supervisions
and communicate with families as needed.
Collaborate with the BCBA/RBA on treatment planning and program adjustments.
Support therapists with troubleshooting session challenges and building clinical skills.
Assist with coordination and communication between therapists, supervisors, and families.
Document supervision notes, progress updates, and recommendations clearly and accurately.
Qualifications
Minimum 2-3 years of ABA therapy experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory/lead role.
Diploma/Degree in Psychology, Behavioural Science, Child Development, or related field.
Strong knowledge of ABA principles and behaviour intervention strategies.
Experience conducting assessments and providing therapist feedback.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Reliable access to transportation within GTA/GHA.
Current Vulnerable Sector Check and CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
