We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Behavior Therapist to join our team. In this role, you will provide high-quality therapeutic services to children with behavioral challenges, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote positive behavior changes. You will work closely with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each child.
Duties
Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate children's behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
Implement behavior intervention plans and monitor progress through data collection and analysis.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including special education staff and healthcare providers, to ensure cohesive care for each child.
Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on effective behavioral strategies and techniques.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards.
Stay informed about the latest research in pediatric behavior therapy and apply findings to enhance therapeutic practices.
Engage in case management activities to coordinate services and resources for children and their families.
Qualifications
2 years experience in ABA
Autism assessment experience
Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Proven experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting, particularly those with behavioral challenges.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and patient care principles.
Familiarity with pediatric development and special education practices is highly desirable.
Excellent data collection skills for tracking behavior changes and treatment efficacy.
Ability to conduct research related to behavioral therapies and apply findings effectively.
Exceptional communication skills for interacting with children, families, and interdisciplinary teams.
Strong organizational skills for managing multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
