Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with children and possess the skills necessary to provide effective therapeutic support. As a Behavioral Therapist, you will play a crucial role in helping patients develop coping strategies, improve their social skills, and enhance their overall well-being. Your expertise in case management, special education, and patient care will be vital in delivering high-quality services to our clients.

Responsibilities



Conduct assessments to evaluate the behavioral and emotional needs of children. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings. Provide direct therapy sessions to children, utilizing evidence-based techniques. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Collaborate with parents, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain accurate records of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes. Engage in ongoing research to stay updated on best practices in behavioral therapy. Participate in case management activities to coordinate care for patients. Educate families about behavioral health issues and available resources.

Requirements



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field. Experience working with children in a clinical or educational setting is preferred. Knowledge of medical terminology and pediatric care is beneficial. Strong skills in data collection and analysis for tracking patient progress. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and their families. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment. Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines.

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour
