Desjardins Securities, a subsidiary of Desjardins Group, offers full-service brokerage services through its investment advisors in some 40 branches, sub-branches and points of service in Quebec and Ontario.

Under the management of the Wealth Management and Best Practices Department, as Advisor, Training and Skills Development, you will contribute to needs analysis, as well as training development, logistics and dissemination. You offer coaching and mentoring to the resources requiring assistance in managing wealth and investments.

You will take on a leadership and influencer role when interacting with the various stakeholders on files and projects that involve highly innovative, interdepartmental strategic and complex input and development. In this regard, you will contribute to developing and recommending strategic orientations and business positioning. The nature of the files requires extensive and in-depth expertise in your field, i.e., managing wealth and managing investments.

You will make recommendations on the development and delivery of files and projects with a very high degree of operational and conceptual complexity that require analysis and a comprehensive, in-depth understanding of the business and the organization. Coordination will be critical, and you will be required to interact with a large number of stakeholders in a variety of fields. As such, you will need highly developed interpersonal skills.

You will serve as a specialized consultant and subject matter expert in your field of expertise, and act as a contact and coach for senior management and decision-making bodies.

You will contribute to achieving the objectives of the full-service Brokerage sector by working together with the investment advisors to optimize their practices, especially in terms of wealth management and investment management. You will translate the sector\xe2\x80\x99s goals and strategic objectives into investment advisor practices through tangible initiatives such as training, mentoring and coaching to improve performance, develop skills and implement best business practices.

Qualifications

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field

A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience

Certified by the IQPF or have equivalent accreditation
