Reporting to the Director, Talent Solutions & Services, the Senior Advisor, Content and Knowledge Management - Human Resources will lead the development and implementation of effective strategies to capture, organize, and distribute HR knowledge leveraging internal content management channels. The role will help build and shape the new content platform and will standardize content management processes, develop KPIs, and optimize content engagement. The ideal candidate will have experience developing content strategies for digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of effective content management strategies to ensure adequate controls and quality assurance of content
  • Partner with the HR Technology team and play a critical role in the implementation of HR Technology solutions that will support the Talent Solutions & Services team
  • Play a lead role in content transformation as current HR knowledge and resources are redesigned and migrated to a new platform (ServiceNow)
  • Design and maintain clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation templates for multi-channel content distribution
  • Partner with COEs and HRBPs as new HR programs and policies are introduced to provide guidance and oversight on digital content support
  • Prepare Talent Solutions & Services team for program and policy launches by creating internal content program support
  • Establish and maintain content governance to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood and documented
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in content management, including emerging trends and innovative technologies
  • Ensure content build is adaptable to emerging technologies, such as ChatGPT
  • Establish and promote content optimization strategies to improve digital engagement for HR, including the establishment of Key Performance Indicators and dashboard reporting to analyze content usage patterns
  • Ensure consistency and branding alignment for HR and CPPIB as a whole
  • Leverage external insights to conduct market trends and best practices and incorporate into content management strategies
  • Leverage internal and external data to build a roadmap for continuous improvement and increased content traffic
  • Provide guidance, support, training sessions, or workshops to educate key partners on effectively preparing content
Partnerships & Communications:
  • Regularly partner with the HRBP and COE leaders to influence and drive content updates, share feedback & trends, and influence the usage of standardized templates and tools
  • Influence delivery channels, data requirements, reporting, and performance metrics as processes are continuously enhanced
  • Partner with enterprise content solutions experts on organizational content delivery strategy
  • Identify common themes in employee inquiries, and advise COEs on barriers to the employee experience, influencing change in knowledge articles, support videos, communication, etc.
Qualifications

Skills and abilities:
  • Minimum 3 years\' experience in knowledge/content management
  • Experience managing global content
  • Experience developing and manager HR content is an asset
  • Experience using an HR Service Delivery platform such as ServiceNow
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent written communication skills and the ability to anticipate documentation needs
  • Knowledge of best practices in content management, including search engine optimization, content tagging, and metadata management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure documents/knowledge articles/resources are well-structure, easily accessible, and aligned with established standards
  • Experience managing content channels including chatbots, online knowledge base, videos, etc
  • Experience in developing and implementing operational reporting focused on content traffic monitoring, engagement in content and feedback
  • Capacity to conduct analysis, identify key insights, and recommended actions logically and efficiently
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional partners, provide direction, and influence outcomes to achieve desired results
  • Experience building persona-based content
  • Outstanding organizational skills and multitasking ability
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
