Join our growing Talent Management & Organizational Effectiveness (TM&OE) team as we continue to activate global talent practices in support of CPP Investments\' Road to $1 trillion assets under management. Reporting to the Director, TM&OE, the Senior Advisor works collaboratively with Talent colleagues and leaders across the organization to elevate colleague engagement and experience, and align talent management and organizational effectiveness processes, programs, and tools to strategic objectives. The role is responsible for contributing to the execution of programs related to colleague engagement, competency model management, coaching and assessments, and colleague listening activities (surveys).

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide advisory support and assess business needs in the areas of talent management, organizational effectiveness, and colleague engagement/experience
  • Establish cross-functional relationships, and partner with, key stakeholders to assess business needs and priorities and their implications for talent management and organizational effectiveness programs/processes
  • Contributes to the end-to-end management, delivery, and continuous improvement of one or more global talent management and organizational effectiveness programs/processes including project management, stakeholder management and engagement, measurement, continuous improvement, etc.
  • Conduct and leverage analytics, knowledge and ongoing research on global leading practices and trends to contribute to the generation of data-driven insights that advance strategic priorities and objectives
  • Support in change management and communication requirements for relevant programs- in partnership with our HR business partners and internal communications team
  • Make recommendations on, and contribute to the implementation of, measurement and evaluation tools to determine program/process efficiency and effectiveness
  • Conduct ongoing data analysis to deliver organizational insights and inform future programming recommendations or organizational effectiveness strategies
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders on the design, development and execution of organization-wide TM&OE programs and initiatives and is a key player in the project management for components of those
  • Identifies change management requirements for TM&OE initiatives, making recommendations accordingly and socializing with key stakeholders
  • Works closely with various Talent teams and the Public Affairs and Communications team to identify communication requirements for all levels of the organization, recommend the appropriate communication strategy and draft communications accordingly
  • Works collaboratively and build partnerships with HR Business Partners and other Talent teams and other internal and external stakeholders
  • Contributes to the broader mandate of the TM&OE team, as required
Qualifications
  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in related field (e.g., Human Resources), relevant professional designation (e.g., CHRE, PMP) is advantageous
  • Progressive experience in project/program and change management, Organizational Development/Effectiveness, or Talent Management, preferably in the financial or professional services industry
  • Highly organized, proven attention to accuracy and detail and an ability to produce high-quality work or project manage under tight timeframes
  • Advance practical experience using Microsoft Office Suite - Word, PowerPoint, and Excel, and keen on learning new systems and applications
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, and ability to understand broader impact and insights
  • Strong communication skills (written and oral) with an ability to take concepts and express them concisely and effectively for all levels across the organization
  • Proven track record of \xe2\x80\x9chands-on\xe2\x80\x9d program management for large-scale, complex programs, processes and change initiative
  • Takes initiative, responsibility and pro-actively seeks opportunities to add value
