Serving and supporting its over 30 institutional investor clients who have entrusted BCI to manage their capital, is a key strategic priority for BCI. As a result, the Client Partnerships and Client Experience teams play a critical and high-profile role in deepening BCI\xe2\x80\x99s relationships across its client base through broad engagement. An exciting opportunity now exists for a talented communications/investor relations professional to join this highly collaborative and high-performing team.

Reporting to the Manager, Client Communication, the Senior Advisor, Client Communication will have the critical role of producing and maintaining communication materials and insights on key topics of interest for BCI\xe2\x80\x99s clients. The focus of the position will be on issues management and ongoing education and communication regarding key topics relevant to institutional investing, with a particular focus on ESG and climate change. They will also work on a range of projects including the client portal, briefing notes, supporting client quarterly reporting, and other special projects while collaborating with individuals across the Corporate & Investor Relations team (including Investment, External and Internal Communications, and the Client Relations team) as well as BCI\xe2\x80\x99s asset management and operations teams. While this is a hands-on role, the Senior Advisor will also have a chance to contribute to the development of BCI\xe2\x80\x99s overall client communication strategy and the continued evolution of the Client Experience team.

The ideal candidate will be a communications professional with a strong background in issues management, crisis communications and stakeholder communications. Specific experience working on or a strong aptitude for quickly grasping complex economics, financial or capital markets issues and concepts will be required. They will have developed written and engaging content for diverse audiences, superior writing and editing skills, and an ability to express complex concepts in a clear and concise fashion to senior management and stakeholders. They will understand how to tailor a message to executives of large, complex organizations as well as to \xe2\x80\x98lay\xe2\x80\x99 audiences. The Senior Advisor must also have a strong orientation toward collaboration and be able to work with internal and external stakeholders.
