Since its inception in 2018, Private Client Advice (PCA) has grown fast and profitably. This department supports our account managers and new business in assissting high net worth clients.
The Senior Private Client Insurance Advisor will be responsible for attracting, acquiring and retaining HNW (high net worth) clientele through various acquisition channels. The incumbent will have a growth mindset, be solutions oriented, strategic and deliver exceptional client service. The role will require an underwriting focus to protect the profitability of the HNW portfolio. Face to face and over the phone interactions will be required. Responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to the following:
  • Conduct in-depth discovery of client assets, financial goals, risk tolerance and create a comprehensive Insurance Plan with tailored HNW strategies.
  • Identify referral opportunities and work with TD partners to franchise each new client.
  • Work collaboratively with various TD partners including Product, Pricing, Underwriting, Claims, HNW inspectors
  • Retain and service your own book of business
  • Establish and maintain a solid network with TD Wealth to build a pipeline of prospects and focus on opportunities to franchise each client
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of TDI policies and procedures, industry trends and protect the interests and reputation of TDI and its clients by continuous compliance to them.
  • Participate in the local community and support TDI charity and community initiatives.
  • Participate fully as a member of the team and support a positive work environment that promotes the business\xe2\x80\x99 vision and legendary client experience.
Requirements
  • OTL license is required \xe2\x80\x93 Any additional (Quebec, Atlantic) licensing to sell insurance policies would be considered a strong asset for the role
  • 5+ years experience working in Insurance sales is required
  • experience in underwriting insurance policies is considered a strong asset
  • Strong customer relationship management
  • Previous experience managing high net worth clients is considered a strong asset

35 \xe2\x80\x93 Monday to Friday 10-6pm MST Inclusiveness
