In your role as Senior Advisor, Publics affairs and Communciation - Quebec/Canada you will manage media relations and work with internal clients to apply and implement communications strategies to meet their business needs, aligning directly with the organization\xe2\x80\x99s strategic plan.

Responsibilities

Manage relationships with the media for the Quebec/Canada hubs;

Advise on media relations for the entire organization;

Help develop communications plans tailored to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s business needs;

Contribute to the editorial calendar for the Quebec/Canada hubs;

Produce written and audiovisual content to support communications messages, working jointly with shared and production resources;

Develop an advisory-based partnership with leaders of the Quebec/Canada hubs and support their needs in terms of internal and external communications, PR, media relations, and public statements and speeches;

Supervise the production, revision and scheduling of translations of various communications tools (key messages, Q&As and other strategic platforms);

Coordinate and advise the team in monitoring and handling public affairs issues;

An attitude beyond the skills of success

Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in communications, political science, journalism, public relations, marketing, literature or a related field;

Seven or more years of media relations experience;

Marked interest in public affairs and the news and media industry;

In-depth knowledge of the media in Quebec and Canada, and existing media contacts within these markets;

Excellent communication skills when interacting with people at all levels of the organization;

Strong communication skills; fluently bilingual in written and spoken French and English;

Excellent command of market-leading digital tools;

Excellent analytical skills; detail-oriented and intellectually curious;

Proven ability and drive to perform in a complex, fast-paced environment with ever-changing demands and priorities;

Keen sense of team spirit;

Outgoing, dynamic, organized and self-motivated.
