We are an established manufacturing company seeking additional expertise in the role of Senior Accountant. This job opportunity is located at our head office in Yorkton, Saskatchewan.Job Requirements
The Senior Accountant will play an important role in financial reporting and business operations within our Accounting and Administration department. This is an excellent opportunity for accountants with a strong business sense who are keen to use and apply their expertise to help support the Company's goals and objectives.Education: Post-secondary accounting education is required, as well as a professional accounting designation.Experience: We require an individual who has 5 years or more of prior experience in a similar role. Experience in a manufacturing setting is preferred.Duties: Duties involve all aspects of the accounting cycle, including:

• Prepare financial statements and reports
• Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable supervision
• Account reconciliations
• Reporting and analysis of company financial benchmarks
• Cash flow management
• Continuous improvement of the Company's procedures and reporting systems

Skills: Candidates should bring the following skillset:

• Strong aptitude for data analysis
• Excellent English communication and interpersonal skills
• Above average computer expertise (accounting software and spreadsheets)
• Proven ability to independently supervise and mentor accounting personnel.
