The Senior Accountant will drive best practices in the accounting, financial reporting and compliance functions of our department. The successful candidate will provide a variety of accounting functions with precision and timeliness along with preparing monthly financial statements, analysis and financial audits.

What you're responsible for:

• Performing a variety of financial tasks from start to finish including: entry, reporting, reconciliation and financial analysis.
• Performing monthly account reconciliations and maintaining general ledgers
• Reconciling accounts.
• Monitoring and reconciling cash activity for multiple sites.
• Preparing and entering journal entries and adjusting entries.
• Maintaining and ensuring the data integrity of various management reports.
• Recommending and working on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Addressing day-to-day accounting related queries or issues.
• Other ad hoc duties as required

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
• Undergraduate or Advanced degree in Finance or Accounting
• Accounting designation is required
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data from multiple systems
