Our Downtown Vancouver real estate client is seeking a permanent Senior Accountant to join the team.
*Salary ranging from $90-100K + Bonus*
As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis. You will also be responsible for ensuring compliance with all accounting regulations and standards.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
- Manage the general ledger and ensure accuracy of financial data
- Perform account reconciliations and analysis
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to improve financial performance
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and standards
- Supervise and train junior accounting staff
- Designated CPA
- Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 3-5 years progressive accounting experience, preferably within the real estate industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
