Position: Senior Accountant AMC Chartered Professional Accountants Inc., a growing CPA firm within Halifax Regional Municipality, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. This is a permanent opportunity where you will be working on various engagements relating to their small to mid-sized owner managed clients. The standard work week (although flexible) would be Monday-Friday 8:30-4:30, with the exception of February- April 8:30-5:00 and a 4 day work week in July & August (Fridays off). Hybrid working arrangements and flexible hours are an option as well. Working closely with the firm\xe2\x80\x99s partners, managers and other staff members, your primary responsibilities will include: \xc2\xb7 Year-end file preparation; \xc2\xb7 Corporate and personal tax return preparation; \xc2\xb7 Quarterly Bookkeeping & HST; \xc2\xb7 General business & accounting advisory to clients. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 2-3 years of Canadian public accounting firm experience.
