Overview

We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, a passion for the beauty industry, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

Duties

Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit. Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations using our salon management software. Handle cash transactions, including cashiering and cash handling responsibilities. Assist with retail sales by promoting products, conducting product demos, and upselling services to clients. Maintain an organized reception area and ensure that all merchandise is well-displayed and stocked. Respond to phone inquiries with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with salon staff to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery. Utilize technology effectively for scheduling, point-of-sale (POS) transactions, and inventory management.

Requirements

Proven experience in customer service or retail sales; experience in a salon or beauty environment is a plus. Strong communication skills Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate cash handling. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to demonstrate products confidently through technical sales knowledge and merchandising skills. A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn about new products and services offered by the salon.
