Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and organized Salon Receptionist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere in the salon. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet clients warmly upon arrival and provide them with necessary information about services offered. Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and cancellations efficiently. Handle phone calls with professionalism, addressing inquiries and booking appointments as needed. Assist clients with product demos and provide recommendations based on their needs. Maintain an organized reception area, ensuring it is clean and inviting at all times. Process payments accurately and manage cash register duties. Upsell salon products and services to enhance client experience and salon revenue. Collaborate with stylists and other staff members to ensure smooth salon operations. Stay updated on new products and services to effectively communicate with clients.

Qualifications

Proven experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred. Strong phone etiquette with excellent verbal communication skills. Basic math skills for handling transactions accurately. Organizational skills to manage appointments and maintain a tidy workspace. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with diverse clientele. Experience in technology sales or technical sales is advantageous for product recommendations. Ability to demonstrate products effectively to clients, fostering an engaging shopping experience.
