Commission Sales Associate - Thrift & Marketplace Sales

About Us:

We are a small, growing thrift boutique offering affordable clothing, coats, baby items, and more. Our focus is on giving great value to customers both in-store and online (via Facebook Marketplace). We are looking for a motivated

Commission Sales Associate

to help grow sales and reach more buyers.

Job Type:

Commission-based only (no hourly wage or salary). Flexible schedule, part-time/hybrid opportunity. Ideal for students, stay-at-home parents, or anyone looking for extra income.

Responsibilities:

Greet and assist customers in-store, answering questions and helping with purchases. Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming store space. Take photos of items and create online listings (Marketplace, etc.) to attract buyers. Respond to messages from potential online customers. Arrange and complete sales through in-store pickups. Upsell items (online only) when possible to increase profit.

Compensation:

Commission only:

In-store sales:

Earn a % on every item sold (clothes $5, coats $10, baby items $3, etc.).

Marketplace sales:

Keep a share of profits from upsold/online sales. The more you sell, the more you earn. Average earnings range from

$300-$1,000+ per month

, depending on effort and sales.

Requirements:

Friendly, outgoing personality with good customer service skills. Reliable and self-motivated -- you earn based on your effort. Comfortable using Facebook Marketplace and messaging buyers. Ability to work independently. Sales experience is a plus but not required.
