Overview

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a keen interest in retail sales, particularly within a furniture store environment. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the shopping experience for our customers through effective communication, product knowledge, and exceptional service.

Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly manner. Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, including cash handling and cashiering duties. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits, driving sales through upselling techniques. Maintain merchandising standards by organizing products on shelves, ensuring proper stocking levels, and creating attractive displays. Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies as needed. Utilize retail math skills to accurately process transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities. Exhibit strong phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns via phone. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred, particularly in a retail store setting. Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills are essential for this role. Strong communication skills are necessary to effectively engage with customers and provide excellent service. Pay: $17.85-$35.00 per hour
