Sales Analyst

As a Sales Analyst, you will be responsible for building reports and tracking sales performance on a weekly, periodic and annual basis to ensure accurate data flow of information to the customer

Core Accountabilities:

  • Working with data from various customers' portals to provide weekly business snapshots, track new product launches, promotion effectiveness etc.
  • Managing various customers' scorecards and addressing the issues based on scores received
  • Manage period ends for Canada: reports, meetings, updates
  • Compile sales reports using data obtained from Cognos, Access and customer portals
  • Support sales team on any ad hoc reporting requests (ie: Sales Team may provide data files for consolidation into a single report in order to do a comparison).
  • Weekly order trend review
  • Assist with Budget and Forecasts
  • POS analysis for various customers
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years' sales analytical experience
  • Experience with customer portals/POS data for large retailers
  • University Degree in Business, Economics, Accounting or Finance
  • Advanced Excel level, and strong skills with Powerpoint
  • Strong analytical and written/verbal communication skills
  • Experienced multi-tasker capable of working on several projects at the same time
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently at times.
  • Strong attention to accuracy and quality of data, and diligent in seeking accurate and reliable source data
  • Ability to collaborate, take initiative, be decisive, communicate and work in a team
