We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our restaurant. As a Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing staff, and ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and service.
Manage and train staff in areas such as food preparation, customer service, and cash handling.
Conduct interviews and hire new team members to build a strong workforce.
Implement effective inventory management practices to minimize waste and control costs.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper food handling procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment while supervising kitchen staff.
Utilize POS systems for order processing and cash management.
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
Collaborate with the culinary team to create innovative menu items that align with customer preferences.
Qualifications
Proven experience in the food service industry, preferably in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen operations.
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
Proficient in cash handling procedures and experience with POS systems.
Solid understanding of health regulations related to food handling and safety.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
