We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Restaurant Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure exceptional service in our establishment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with a passion for hospitality and customer satisfaction. As a Restaurant Manager, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food quality, service, and cleanliness while managing staff and resources effectively.

Duties

Supervise daily restaurant operations to ensure efficient service and adherence to health and safety regulations. Train, mentor, and manage staff, to deliver outstanding customer service. Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain financial records in accordance with company policies. Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to maximize profitability. Address customer complaints promptly and professionally to enhance guest satisfaction. Conduct interviews for new hires and participate in the onboarding process for new employees. Utilize POS systems for order processing and financial reporting.

Skills

Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food service industry. Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods is beneficial. Excellent cash handling skills with attention to detail in financial transactions. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing and reporting. Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Effective communication skills for interacting with staff, customers, and vendors. Background in hospitality or hotel management is an advantage.
