Responsibilities:



Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal hygiene.

Bring creativity, confidence, and endless patience to tackle challenges and problem-solve effectively.

Develop personalized plans to support children and youth in their growth, community involvement, behavior management, and personal care.

Be aware of each individual's physical, social, and recreational environments, while taking proactive steps to minimize risks and ensure full participation and inclusion.

Qualifications:



Must have experience with Autism (ASD), ADHD, ADD, ODD, and other diagnoses.

Must have experience working with children, Personal Support Work, Education, Disability Support Work, or a related field.

Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certification is a plus.

Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license and a reliable vehicle are required (needs transportation for community outings).

Current First Aid and CPR Level C certification.

Clean Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector and Child Intervention Check.

Please note: All applicants must have a valid Class 5 driver's license, reliable vehicle, updated registration, and $2 million in third-party liability insurance.

Monday-Friday (6:00AM-9:00AM, 2:00PM-7:00PM)

Kids Without Limits supports parents and guardians of children with autism and/or other developmental delays, by coordinating temporary relief and the opportunity to take a break from the demands of daily care of their loved ones. The support we provide enables children to have meaningful and successful lives in their community. Kids Without Limits is a locally owned and operated respite agency in the Greater Edmonton area. We are dedicated to providing enriching and engaging experiences for children, as well as the opportunity to relax and recharge for parents. We understand the adversities that families experience when caring for special needs, and that's why respite is our heart and soul!
