Summer Respite Support Workers

to provide essential care to children with autism and developmental delays in a fun, supportive, and inclusive environment.

About the Role:

Summer 2025 Only

As a

Summer Respite Support Worker

, you will provide support and care to children in their homes and communities

from July to August 2025

. With a flexible schedule of

6-20 hours per week

, this role is perfect for students, educators, or individuals seeking meaningful part-time summer work.

Must Have:

A valid Class 5 driver's license, $2 million liability and reliable vehicle, as transporting children to summer outings and appointments is required.

Key Responsibilities

Assist children with daily routines (meal prep, hygiene, medication, etc.) Follow individualized care plans to support development and independence. Lead fun and therapeutic summer activities tailored to each child's needs. Ensure the physical and emotional safety of the children in your care. Communicate regularly with families to ensure consistency in care. Transport children to parks, community events, and therapy sessions.
