GFL Environmental is looking for a Resource Manager to join the liquids division in Fort Erie, ON! This position is responsible for Managing and administrating contract between GFL and its customer facility. This contract covers waste management and industrial services. The Resource Manager oversees waste disposal and ensuring compliance onsite. The Resource Manager serves as an intermediate between the customer and different waste vendors. The Resource Manager supervises staff onsite.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate and schedule transportation of waste from client site including scheduling and manifesting. This includes hazardous and non hazardous waste Prepare invoices and track waste shipments, prepare, and enter waste tracking data Comply with all onsite safety practices and ISO 14001 EMS. Ensure all staff and contractors are properly trained Work within the facility to follow the three R\xe2\x80\x99s and work with different personnel to meet waste reduction goals Comply with budgets and track financials Conduct waste inspections and waste audits Inspect client site daily and ensure compliance is being met. This includes inspecting onsite ponds Supervises onsite personnel Investigate cost savings initiatives Other duties as required
Knowledge, Skills & Competencies: Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree or Diploma in Environmental Field Excellent customer service skills Experience with Ontario Regulation 347 and TDG Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
