About the position:
Reporting to the President, Lifestyle Options, the Human Resource Manager is responsible for the logistics of employee management and provides professional advice and expertise to leadership on human resource practices and processes.

Your Duties:

  • Act as a resource to all employees regarding matters which cannot be handled by a direct supervisor or manager.
  • Work directly with various departments to help in workforce planning, and talent management.
  • Recruit top talent to meet Lifestyle Options business objectives and values.
  • Complete onboarding and offboarding activities in a thorough and timely manner.
  • Oversee the discipline process, interfacing with legal counsel regarding disciplinary or termination issues.
  • Assist supervisors and managers with personnel concerns and issues in keeping with applicable employment laws.
  • Provide people leadership in all areas of human resources, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Your Qualifications:
  • Minimum 7 years of human resource generalist experience, ideally with 2+ years in Human Resource management.
  • Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Human Resource Management, Labour Relations, Employment Law or similar required.
  • CPHR Designation or CPHR Candidate strongly preferred.
  • Must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills, while maintaining a professional standard of conduct.
  • Demonstrated experience interpreting and advising leadership on employment legislation requirements.
