Summary

The Resource Manager will streamline the resourcing process across all team disciplines by acting as a central point decision-maker who evaluates business priorities by working alongside a range of stakeholders in our production teams to advise on effective resourcing strategies. Your leadership will be required to make quick decisions to ensure sales and revenue targets are met, while maintaining dedicated teams throughout project delivery to continue meeting high quality standards and accreditations.

Responsibilities

  • Determines hiring needs and ensures staff development opportunities are being supported by project planning
  • Reviews sales pipeline and imminent project kick-offs, proactively monitoring capacity in all disciplines
  • Identifies opportunities to move projects through lifecycle promoting revenue acceleration
  • Resolves resourcing conflicts
  • Encourages (or enforces where necessary) best practice behaviors, processes, and ISO responsibilities
  • Ensures staff development opportunities are being supported by project planning
  • Continually reviews and advises on process improvement, including related to group-wide technology and tools
  • Identifies opportunities to prioritize permanent staff over freelancers; and opportunities to double up staff for efficiencies
  • Leads weekly meetings with Project Managers to ensure accuracy in their planning
Skills & Experience
  • Experience in Project Management, Program Management, Studio Management or similar
  • Previous learning technologies or learning / digital design agency background
  • Experience in waterfall & agile project processes within an ISO 9001-certified environment
  • Detailed understanding of revenue generation concepts
  • Knowledge of sales process and pipeline forecasting
  • Client-facing experience
  • Excellent organization and multi-tasking skills
  • Fluent in MS Word, MS Project, Excel
