We are looking for a full-time Receptionist to join our team at our Toronto headquarters.
Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome visitors as soon as they arrive at the front desk
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office
  • Prepare refreshments for meetings with clients/guests
  • Present a positive and professional image of the office to all visitors, clients, inquiries, and other persons.
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable at all times
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email
  • Receive, sort, and distribute daily mails/deliveries
  • Offer administrative support across the organization, time permitting
  • Manage meeting room bookings; update calendars and schedule meetings
  • Manage publications and magazines in visitors waiting areas
  • Maintain overall appearance of Reception and Member areas
  • Perform other clerical receptionist duties such as filing, photocopying, faxing, scanning, etc.

Requirements:
  • Proven skills, knowledge and work experience of customer contact or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a busy office
  • Professional attitude and appearance
  • Solid verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills; solid written skills would be a plus
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
  • Highly efficient multitasking and time-management skills
  • High school diploma; additional certification in Office Management is preferred
  • Food & beverage experience is preferreed
