MQHS designs, builds, and manages affordable community minded homes that create foundations for people to flourish in the Fraser Valley. We are looking for a friendly person for our reception area that will give our customers a positive first impression of MQHS on the phone, in-person or by email with their exceptional communication skills. This position is a full-time contract for a one year term ending March 31, 2024. This is a Indigenous funding opportunity through Sto:lo Aboriginal Skills and Employment Training, applicants must be status or non status Indigenous. Primary Responsibilities:
  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival at Head Office
  • Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls
  • Assist in tenant rent payment intake process.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail deliveries.
  • Order office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Customer service attitude
  • Interact effectively and tactfully with people of various backgrounds and cultures.
