We are hiring a Receptionist to support our brokerage. This is one of the most important roles we have as you are the first person our clients or potential clients talk to and the first person people see when they come into the office.   • Greet visitors and guests in a personable and professional manner.
  • Receive client payments.
  • Direct all incoming communication (phone, email, walk-ins) to the appropriate party.
  • Sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail and courier.
  • Keep client files up to date by scanning and filing documents into the appropriate files to minimize paper in the office and our impact on the environment.
  • Complete bank runs as required.
  • Provide additional administrative support to management and the team as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Previous experience in an administrative or customer service-based role.
  • Adaptable and flexible, willing to help out with any task.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Prior experience in an office or insurance environment is an asset but is not mandatory.

Education:
  • Secondary School (preferred)
Experience:
  • Front desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Administrative experience: 1 year (preferred)
