Job Title: QA \xe2\x80\x93 Clinical Coordinator (Medical/Legal Report Review) Please Note: This is a posting for medical-legal report copy-editing. This is not a position for quality control technicians in the manufacturing/food/beverage/pharmaceutical sectors, nor software or any other kind of engineer. Job Objective: To review assessor reports for quality assurance in accordance with our QA-Report Review Procedure and in alignment with Customer Service Level agreements and Statutory Accident Benefits (SABS) legislation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Complete report reviews and edit for all non-medical and grammatical errors in a timely fashion \xc2\xb7 Liaise by phone and email with assessors in regards to inconsistencies or omissions within reports \xc2\xb7 Verify that all customer questions are thoroughly and clearly answered in reports \xc2\xb7 Submit reviewed reports to assessor for approval or further clarification \xc2\xb7 Ensure consistency among assessors when multi-disciplinary assessments are needed \xc2\xb7 Provide support to both internal and external stakeholders by either phone or email \xc2\xb7 Ensure timelines and deadlines are met for reports to be submitted as directed in service level agreements with clients \xc2\xb7 Retrieve approval from customer when assessor recommends a diagnostic image in formulating opinion \xc2\xb7 Answer customer inquiries in regards to reports \xc2\xb7 Communicate updates with team members as required \xc2\xb7 Assist with streamlining processes and quality improvements Education and/or Experience: \xc2\xb7 University Degree in healthcare or related field required \xc2\xb7 1-3 years reviewing and editing reports \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of SABS (Statutory Accident Benefits Schedule) \xc2\xb7 Healthcare Professional designation an asset \xc2\xb7 Exceptional skills on MS Word and Excel, and Google Suite \xc2\xb7 Excellent ability to organize and coordinate multiple timelines \xc2\xb7 Superb communication skills, able to communicate well with medical assessors \xc2\xb7 Bilingual (English/French) an asset Reports To: Manager and Team Lead, Clinical Coordination (Report Review) Hours: Various shifts, additional hours as needed Breaks: 1-hour unpaid lunch HVE Healthcare Assessments is committed to the principles of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
