We are currently looking for forward thinking, active prone and professional associates to become part of our team kin Brantford, Ontario. We are looking for a QA Coordinator. I Overall Objective The QA Coordinator is a key position in the organization who will be in charge of verifying that the raw materials, testing, WIP and finished goods of both our flexible packaging products and labels are manufactured within the required specifications. The responsible will have enough knowledge and experience to support all compliance requirements to maintain our certifications and fulfill the regulations required in the different markets that our products are sold to. II Experience Required A thorough understanding of printing technologies (flexography ideally), testing equipment and flexible packaging processes and their respective functions as well as thorough knowledge of plastics such as PP, PE, PET. PVC, etc. Organizational skills, technical aptitude, verbal and written communication. Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience with QA activities. III Education Chemical engineering or technologist. Graphic design (ideal but not required). IV Duties and Responsibilities
  • Inspection and Testing
  • Perform Incoming Material (Paper, Film, Lamination film, Foil as per the quality parameters of the printing) & outgoing Material Inspection.
  • Basic incoming testing such as coefficient of friction, rubs, hardness, weld test etc., on films
  • On work in progress: vs target sample, with spectrodensitometer, ink adhesion, imagine repeat, curling,
  • On production steps: coat weight, adhesive peel, vacuum testing, dye penetration, seal strength, etc.
  • Documentation:
  • Preparation of necessary documents and reports for internal and customer\xe2\x80\x99s requirements
  • Prepare and submit (upload) Certificate of Analysis for finished products.
  • Coordinate the compilation of reports to fulfill our regulatory certifications.
  • Maintain the HACPP, Quality and GMP manuals up to date with required documents
  • Procedures:
  • Eagerly contributes to investigating internally on customer complaints regarding product quality-related issues to make sure proper corrective and preventive action plan is in place.
  • Coordinate the activities of internal auditors to verify the achievement of their audits
  • Accurately approves or rejects products to make sure that the quality of the products is on-point every time.
  • Efficiently works on closure of work orders in the company\xe2\x80\x99s ERP system that always results in on-time shipment to our clients.
  • Contribute to the resolution of any quality issue during production to assure the required quality level and the on-time shipment of the final product.
  • Prepare Non-Conformance Report with respect to concern issue and take necessary corrective and preventive action for any rejection.
  • Maintain the Standards like ISO9001, FSC, GMP, etc.
  • Any other activity as required.
V Hours of Work : Monday to Friday 8 am to 4:30pm VI Wage: TBA depending upon experience VII Terms and Conditions: Terms and conditions for employment are as outlined in The Lintec Employee Manual 3-month probation review. Vacation TBD Job Type: Full-time Salary: $30.00-$35.00 per hour Benefits:
