What You'll Do
As a Property Manager, you'll be the go-to person for residents and the key driver of your property's success. You'll balance tenant care, financial oversight, and property operations while working closely with our Director of Property Operations.
Resident Experience & Leasing
Build strong relationships with tenants, addressing concerns and keeping satisfaction high.
Support smooth move-ins/outs and renewals.
Administer leases and issue required notices in line with the Residential Tenancies Act.
Property Operations
Oversee building standards, coordinate inspections, and ensure units are market ready.
Quarterly residential unit inspections
Weekly property inspections
Ensure facilities and third-party vendors are delivering quality service and maintenance.
Ensure contracts are being met.
Financial Management
Prepare and manage property budgets and capital plans.
Review variance reports monthly
Determine and ensure chargebacks are billed back to residents.
Monitor receivables, resolve arrears, and review monthly financial reports.
Leadership & Administration
Guide vendors and facilities staff to ensure top performance.
Keep organized records of leases, inspections, contracts, and reports with Yardi and Cloud Server.
Collaborate with asset management and the director of property operations as needed.
What We're Looking For
2-5 years of residential property management experience.
Strong knowledge of the Residential Tenancies Act.
Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
A problem-solver who can make sound decisions under pressure.
Excellent communication and people skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
Bonus Points If You Have
Experience with Yardi software.
Exposure to commercial property management.
Post-secondary education in Real Estate, Business, or related field.
